Terms and Conditions: Barton Mills Small Animal Boarding (Barton Mills Boarding): SHORT TERM STAYS

For the protection of other bunnies we ask that all rabbits booked in over the age of 12 weeks hold a current vaccination certificate for VHD (Viral Hemorrhagic Disease) and Myxomatosis, this will need to be produced upon arrival. SORRY, BUT NO RABBIT CAN BE ALLOWED TO STAY WITHOUT THIS

I agree to a basic examination of my pet on arrival (at no extra cost). Any pet showing signs of ill heath such as a runny nose or eyes, fleas, respiratory problems or signs of pregnancy may not be boarded.
Please inform Barton Mills Boarding if you are worried about any aspect of your pet’s health prior to boarding.

I agree to Barton Mills Boarding transporting my animal to a Vet (we use Eastgate Vets in Mildenhall) should the animal become ill whilst in their care. I agree to pay any associated Vets costs (Barton Mills Boarding will not charge you for their time or travel to Vets) and I agree to my animal being treated under my own name and address. Barton Mills Boarding agrees to make every effort to contact the owner or emergency contact before taking any animal to the Vet, but the welfare of the animal takes precedence, if contact can not be made Barton Mills Boarding will inform the Vet to carry out whatever treatment they (the Vet) deem necessary including staying in their (the Vets) care. I
f you, the owner does not consent to this, you must make you wishes known in writing.

You may pay Barton Mills Boarding in cash or by cheque (made payable to Mrs S E Roberts) either on the day of drop off or day of collection. We do not accept card payments.

We reserve the right to rehome any animal left with us 7 days after the allocated pick up day, unless you or someone on your behalf has contacted us and informed us that the pet can not be collected on the allocated day and the reasons why. Barton Mills Boarding will seek from you the costs of care until the animal can be rehomed and the costs incurred and will also inform the appropriate bodies of the abandonment. In respect of long term stays you agree to pay for one months boarding in advance and then monthly via a standing order from your bank account. We reserve the right to rehome any long term boarder if fees are not paid at the end of the invoice period (usually 30 days) or if contact can not be made with owner after 4 weeks of attempting to do so.

In addition to all of the above the added terms and conditions apply:

We would encourage you to visit your pet as often as possible, please make prior arrangements to make sure we are here.
